What is going price for pair of RT55's?

I have a pair of black RT55 speakers (not the "i" series) that are in mint condition (with the original factory boxes) and I have someone that is interested in buying them. I don't have a clue as to how much to ask for these. :confused: Would someone please tell me what these are worth and what I should ask for them. Your kind help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    bought mine for $150 + shipping from audiogon. black, not the i series. It seems to me that people shun them because they are not the i series but I couldn't tell the difference really.

    I have the same that I bought new a little more than 3 yrs ago for $700 pr. directly from Polk. If they're in 'as new' condition,I'd think that $250(at least) is a good price for the pair. I called the Polk offices and they told me it's the exact same speaker as the i series. Are they mistaken, or could I have misunderstood them?

    Not the same as the i series. Veneered cabinet, blue woofer, and tweeter(maybe) are the differences and the i's do bring more money. I do think I got a good deal from audiogon though. I wonder if polkster 13 got rid of his?

    I am really interested in the RT55i, or nething RT55 for that matter. However my collection of money is...umm....$0! lol! The only way I could get them is let me pay u back lata! LOL! but I wish I had the moola!!!!! LOL!
