Watched this one last night; pretty cool tragicomedy. Colin Farrell does a nice job.

Definitely worth a rental.

+1. Good mix of comedy and "action." Ferrel was good in the funny parts, though seemed a bit over his head when having to actually act depressed or anything beyond his usual goofy self.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

It kept me entertained for about 20 min, then I fell asleep out of boredom! Did it get anymore exciting after that?

Watched it a couple of weeks ago and liked it a whole lot. Great mix of comedy and action/drama. Agree with the Snatch similarities. Also reminded me of a favorite sleeper of mine, "The Limey" but without the humor.

It was a decent movie, but nothing like Snatch. Unless you base similarities in movies solely on the accents it's characters have. That was about the only thing those 2 movies had in common.

A dark comedy based around shady British and Irish characters, engaged in illegal and immoral activities, no that wouldn't be anything like Snatch would it. ;)

Pretty broad brush you've got there. No, 2 completely different movies. ;)

I liked this movie A LOT too.

Also, I can see people thinking this and some of the Guy Ritchie films have some similarities. Bruges was darker, slower, dealing more with morals, etc., but they are based in Europe, similar accents and smart dialogue, multiple story lines that come together in coincidence at the climax.

Anyway, good flick. Want to watch again soon.

Finally saw it. Starts out with beautiful scenaries of Bruges but then starts to drag and gets painful after 20-30 min. Slowly, the plot picks up and the last 1/3 and ending is a whammer. Very good flick but you've got to get through the initial 30 minutes of setup (plots, subplots, emotional settings).

I'm not a Colin Farrell fan but this is by far his best performance out of the small handful of flicks I've seen him in.

I agree 100%. I've been smiling for the last 15 minutes thinking of that line and others. It's not a plot driven movie....just a gem of a dark comedy with wonderful dialog. My wife and I both liked it a lot.
