Have yet to see a real trailer for it, but I am excited. Being a big fan of the ride, a Johnny Depp fan and a pirate movie fan, hopefully this shows promise.

    “British actor Orlando Bloom has come aboard the Walt Disney Co.'s "Pirates of the Caribbean," in which he will star opposite Johnny Depp. Bloom, best known for his role as Legolas Greenleaf in "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring," plays a young British man who teams up with an honorable pirate (Depp) to save the woman he loves from dangerous pirates. While the female lead has yet to be cast, Geoffrey Rush is set to portray the evil Capt. Blackheart. The most recent draft of "Pirates," which is based on the Disney theme park ride, was penned by "Shrek" scribes Terry Rosio and Ted Elliott, working from earlier drafts from Jay Wolpert and Stuart Beattie. "Pirates" is being produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and executive produced by Bruckheimer Films' Mike Stenson and Chad Oman.

    Really looking forward to this one.
