MM120 enclosure size - bigger OK?

Hi there
I am designing an enclosure for my MM120 sub. My system is being built for SQ rather than SPL.
As such, I was considering making the sub enclosure bigger than the recommended 0.88 cuft, and more like 1.2 cuft (sealed). The sub will see about 500 WRMS, but I don't plan on cranking it hard.
Any thoughts on this enclosure in terms of SQ pros and cons?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
