I hate you guys for turning me on to MIT

Well, after hearing all the great stuff about MIT, I decided to give some lower end stuff a try. I ordered some bi-wire AVT 2 speaker cable and some basic AVT 2 IC's for insanely cheap prices. I was just doing it to try it and planned on selling it right back. However, these speaker cables really are great sounding (in comparison to Signal Ultra bi-wires). The transient response is improved, bass much tighter (although slightly more anemic), and resolution improved a good bit. The AVT 2 is one step above their entry level, but man does it sound good. I don't know if this could be beat for under $300.

The AVT 2 Ic's were impressive for the price (less than $50) and had their bag of strengths like great resolution and dynamic range. Not as flooring as the speaker cables, but definitely the best thing I've tried for under $50.

To Doro and all the others that have sworn by MIT cables, I now see why, even after a taste of their entry level. I can't imagine how good the Shotguns are and will hopefully try them one day. Hopefully not soon because I over-extended myself by wanting to keep these.

Nice! I have an MIT power conditioner in my new 2-channel setup and some Terminator4 ICs. They are pretty cheap by MIT standards but sound good.

I don't know about for life, but yes. MIT has really, really nice stuff. Why the hate? :p:D

I was being kind of silly. I LOVE their interconnects, but prefer Goertz speaker cables. I should be trying out a different pair of MIT's soon, so we'll see what happens.
