What, if I may ask is wrong with yours? Are they missing or is the grill cloth all messed up from a cat or something?

Oh, my manners. Welcome to Club Polk.

You should ask Polk customer service if any of the currently available grills for their other speaker lines will fit the RT12. Than you can buy two have them match your speaker pair!

You may have to measure the distance between the grill slots to know what distance the non-RT12 grills would fit.

    Just a thought ;)

Wow! The next time you see your friend, run [don't walk] and give him a big ol' hug and a case of beer. Nice! Grill or no grill, that's a "killer" deal.

20 bucks!!!??? Is your friend severely retarded? I use those as my surrounds with RT16 mains and a CS350LS center. He knew not what he gave away.

well, he blew one of the drivers and must have thought it was unfixable. $50 later, its as good as new (except for the missing grille).

Does anyone have any experience with building a grille from scratch? I know that I would have to buy some grille cloth, but what should i use for the framing? Would generic particle board suffice, or do I need to use some special material?

Also, does anyone know if/where I can acquire an extra Polk insignia for the grille?

Most older Polk grills are MDF, but you can get framing kits from Parts Express...
