Ugh! Stupid Time-Extending Rules in UBid auctions!

This thing has lasted 90 minutes past its ending time! Every time there is 1 minute left in the auction, someone bids higher thus extending the time 10 additional minutes! :(

    You can't snipe those types of auctions. Just put your highest bid in and let it go. Its actually more like a real auction: it keeps going until nobody else bids higher.

    Overstock auctions are the same way. Ebay is really the only one who has the fixed end time like that.

    Audiogon auctions work that way. IMO is the right way to do it; it will sell to the highest bidder, period.
