Any 2006 and up Jetta owners?

I know if you get it all decked out it costs more, but the Chevrolet Malibu starts about $20k. That's not too much more than a Jetta, right? Especially if you're going to spring for some options.
I don't know, just an idea. I know I like the new Malibu!George Grand wrote: »

I was looking at the Malibu as well. Just never been much of a Chevy guy. The other strange thing is that by the time you equip the Malibu to the level of the base Impala--it comes very close to the Impala in price. I'd rather have the Impala's roomier interior and 3.6 litre V6.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

I've got a 2007 Jetta 2.5 on the lot. Seems to be a very nice vehicle. It has 24k miles on it.
This deal won't go down until next July--if it even goes down. I may opt to drive the wheels off my Forenza. Just gettin my research on...Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2 -

Huh??? Now, the new Malibu is a nice first step in the right direction for GM(yes, GM does make a FEW decent autos, but not in the sub $25k segment), it still doesn't hold a candle to a Jetta."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

I was saying that with 24k miles on it, it was still a very tight, nice car. I didn't figure you'd be flying to Indy just to buy a used Jetta from little ole me.:p"SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

I do like the Mailbu's styling better than the plain-jane Impala.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it.
