Cool, I wasn't a big fan of the last one at first but I've come to appreciate it more since I've seen it a couple of times, can't wait to see this one.Casey

I really enjoyed Order of the Phoenix. I thought it was well made, and they actually tried to implement more story over action. Yes it was probably more boring over the other movies for kids, but as an adult who loves the books I thought it was the best out of the five.
HBP looks amazing. I am really looking forward to this. What amazes me at this point in the series is that they could not have picked the characters any better. Each one has literally grown into their role perfectly.
Another Harry Potter classic scene....

Awesome! This was my favorite book of the 7 & I hope they do more justice to this than they did Order of the phoenix. I think from book 4 & on all the movies should have been over the 2 hour mark.

No doubt, from 4 on these books run 500 - 700 pages, that can not be fit in a sub 2 hr movie. Notice that Order of The Phoenix completely left out quidditch completely! The manage to get the gist of the story in the movies, but they leave out the details that make the stories really good. The last 2 books are so long, I am really not sure how they will even fit all the significant events in a movie that is not in the 2.5 to 3 hr range. -
I have ZERO issues with a movie running 2.5-3.5 hours(the latter with an intermission), as long as it keeps me riveted and doesn't have any very long lulls in it. I want detail and as much accuracy as possible, so as to do justice to the book."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

I thought Harry Potter was for kids? I've never seen any of them so can't comment, but I thought these were for kids...

You should go out and rent them. They are intended for kids, but most adults enjoy them just as much, if not more."SOME PEOPLE CALL ME MAURICE,

We all have a little bit of the kid still in us, eh?
I have kids and have watched all the movies with them - and I really do enjoy them even as a dull adult
A good story is still a good story - and fantasy is perhaps needed more by the adult mind than by children?

Anyone have these in hi-def, worth the extra money?

and sound quality. When the building spreads to reveal the OOP headquarters, my subwoofer was going nuts. I thought my apartment was being opened by the jaws of life.
