I had an AKAI when I was growing up. When I moved across the country to live w/ my dad, I guess my mom gave it away along with all the tapes.

Oh well, I still love her.

I had both RTR 600 Ds as well as RTR 300 Ds. My buddy still has the 300 Ds I sold him when I purchased the SDA/SRSs in nineteen eighty something.

Starting to wonder if anyone is alive after this event. No late night posts or anything this morning.

I had to leave around 6.30 and things were about to get crazy. That was hard to leave, I really should have left at 4.30 to get back to a gathering going on at my house, but how can you leave beer drinking, audio geek talk, and playing with some different gear? I got out alive early, hope there are more survivors.

Ben's DIY preamp is pretty damn nice, and those DIY SDAs of his mean business, they will push you back in your seat and have NO SIGN of stress.

As always, Polkies are good people, met some new and old faces, all of them great guys.

Sorry I couldn't make it back on Sunday. I ended up leaving the concert Saturday night with a free ride over to the North Fulton Regional Medical Center. I had one of my attacks at the concert and spent the night at the hospital. I felt it coming on on the way over to Ben's house on Saturday morning. I'm sorry I missed the gear sampling and the libations. I'll get a few of you guys over to the cave in Marietta when I get back from another run out west next week. I should only be gone 2-3 weeks.

Thanks for the hospitality Ben. Good to see Russ (hoosier) again. Always a trip meeting up with Tom & Russ from the NC gang. Jason (zombieboy) was everything I expected. Met Jerry and he lived up to all Ben said he was, great guy willing to lend a hand.

Mad hatters, every last one of you. Run DMC as reference material? Only at this meet. You can fill in the blanks.

In all seriousness, this shindig was a blast. We definitely had a crew willing to walk WAY off the beaten path. And much thanks to Ben for opening up his home to this motley bunch, as well as reminding me why I love this hobby so much.

I hope that at least a few of the stains can be removed.

I am just messing around. It was a great time. I would like to thank the guys for showing up. It was a blast. Next time we may knock out a wall to give the speakers a little more breathing room:D Hopefully the pool will be open. The RUN DMC bit was a blast on day two. A little trip down memory lane. The recording was actually very well done. Primus was real fun too. The neighbors didn't complain. We chilled out around midnight. Lots of good talks on different aspects of audio. ZB I think I have a phone charger of yours.
    Again
    Thanks guys

I guess it was better than leaving the contents of my stomach all over your shirt. Don't worry about it.... I have another one. Thanks again, Ben. You must really have some dirt on your neighbors for them to keep silent. Maybe they imagine you to be a serial killer. The chainsaw adds a nice touch.

You'll have to come back to pick it up sometime:) I think the neighbors are just pretty cool, or maybe scared:D Hopefully I'll get some time into the tubes so we can get our ears on them. Oh yeah there is still a big bottle of Beam left. It is safe here. The kids, and I won't touch that:p
