I like the Black Chrono. Black Aquaracer Chrono

I would also go Automatic. It looks nicer by far to me.

The blue ones are nice but I would only use it if I were wearing Blue Jeans. To limited to me.

Either Black one is nice and will go with anything. I just prefer the face on the Chrono.

I've had a quartz "professional" for over 10 years with absolutely no issues (yes, changed the battery twice).

I'm a Tag owner & have had both a black & a blue dial. Personally, I've preferred the blue dial. It stands out a bit, is a beautiful shade and I've never felt like it doesn't go w/whatever I'm wearing. I AM after all, a classic guy & my thoughts about color coordination don't extend all the way to my watch.

1 Other thought: if having a watch that is really accurate is important to you, don't go automatic. They lose time - yes, even Tag Heuers (I had one) - and I found myself constantly adjusting my watch so that I could be confident of being on time.

    IMHO

I had the same with Ricardo awhile ago my dad bought it for me but it got stolen by my roommate that time.

I'm considering Automatic because many reviewers preferred that so I THINK it would lasts longer or something.:D
Blue looks nicer to me at Macy's also but I don't mind either blue or black.

I ask simply because I, personally, can't see myself as willing to carry around that kind of weight. They look great and I'm sure they do what they are intended to do well. If they had an Aluminum/Carbon Fiber model like my Suunto X-Lander you might get my attention.

Just want to be clear I'm not dissing your choice or TAG's in general. Weight was something I strongly considered when I bought my half-decent watch.

It was already brought up, but if you prefer a watch for it's accuracy get the quartz.

However, if you want something that isn't girly... get one of these.:p

Sorry Mike, you can't stop me I'd just grab one. Automatic was a clear winner but I'm not ready yet.

Thank you all for helpful suggestions.

Like others have said, if you want accuracy get quartz. If you want lower service costs get quartz. If you use the chrorno go for it. If not you are paying for something you won't use that in the long run will cost you more because of the extra service costs.
Now, having said that all of my watches are automatics.

Also a Tag owner - Link. Great watches.

Another note on the automatic - unless you plan to wear it everyday, you may want to consider buying a "watch winder" so you do not have to set it and wind it manually after you have not worn it for a day or two.

Personal preference, but although I see the allure of the automatic, I prefer the function of a quartz.
