my guess is a 94 or 95 DX. I would love to pick up a similar year EX (I gotta have power windows and a sunroof) for fuel economy... and they're cheap. Too bad I'm broke. :(

Okay guys, long story short, I sold my 2004 Toyota Tacoma 4WD this past weekend to a) find something with better gas mileage and b) use the extra cash to payoff all my bills due to work being so slow, I've accomplished both, or so I thought.:D This is my first Honda vehicle and I had no idea so many upgrades could be done to Honda's. My brother has been into the Honda's from the day he got he license and so far we've been having a ball just researching what can be done. He has a 99 Civic 4 door thats had a full motor swap and I can't tell you how many other upgrades have been done to the car.

Anyways, it's a 1995 Civic EX (all the badges were removed) with power everything, moon roof, Skunk 2's on KYB's as far as the suspension goes, had 129K on it when I picked it up on Monday, all original paint, one eraser size ding on the driver side that you really have to look at the car on an angle to see it. Interior is as flawless as the exterior. Car was purchased from one of my brother's good friend's that is really anal about cars so I expected nothing less than what I received. I gave $4800 for the car which I know is more than blue book but after spending all day with the wife Saturday looking at cars in the $5000 range, I think I basically stole this car.

As far as upgrades go, the first thing I having done is placing the Honda OEM vent guards on it as well as getting the windows tinted, not use to being this low to the ground so everyone's headlights are killing me at night. Then I will place new wheels and tires on it. My brother says he has an exhaust for it so I'm sure thats not far behind. Once those few things are done, I have to get my tunes back in it. I'll be placing my Alpine CDA-9835 headunit in the car this coming weekend and all the factory speakers have already been replaced, with what, not sure but sounds pretty damn good. I'll eventually end up putting a single 12 in the trunk, should be more than enough thump plus I want to keep the weight down. After all this is done, then I'm going to start saving for the motor swap. My brother wants me to buy the JDM B16B, Civic Type R motor, says I want to avoid the turbo's and just go with an all motor car which I tend to listen to him because his car is pretty damn quick with his motor swap.

Getting windows tinted is next. Car goes in the shop tomorrow full a new full 2.25" exhaust from the cat back, have to get it done so it will pass inspection, stock muffler tip rusted off and doesn't come out past the rear bumper.

That's just what I was thinking. :D No freakin **** can, grapefruit shooter, or whatever you want to call them. They sound like ****, anyway. You would get more HP by putting stickers on the car! hehe

Nice little car. I'd have to lift it back to normal ride, though.

Looking good over there Grim, that bad boy looks slammed. How low is the drop on it? Pipe is ok, just not too loud. Some of them are hella loud and annoying as others mentioned, but I think youre taking a different route though correct?
