No rules. Post as many lyrics as you want and see who can guess the song and artist if possible. Anyone can post their lyric even if they didn't correctly answer any of the previous lyrics. The previous lyrics don't have to be answered correctly for anyone else to post their lyric(s).

I'll go first:

MY LIFE HAS BEEN A POOR ATTEMPT TO IMITATE THE MAN

    Here's another verse:

Got to the party, nothing stirring, not even a mouse

'bout thirty people were there and most of them were dicks
Only three of them were girls, but they weighed as much as six

There was a small group of people around talking ****
About their jobs, pop music and politics
In the main room, the television was a hit
I said, "It's sad but true, most people are dicks"

    No guesses?

Can't you see the tears roll down the street
I've been looking for my baby
And I wonder where can she be

I saw my baby early one morning....She was walking on down the street
I saw my baby early this morning....She was walking on down the street
You know it hurt me, hurt me so bad
Made my poor heart skip a beat

I've got a real real real real bad feelin
That my baby she don't love me no more
I've got a real real bad feelin that my baby don't love me no more

    OK,
On the lyrics below (end of the song):
There was a Mexican goddess standing at my door
She said she was Juanita, she just moved next door
She had a bottle of tequila, a seductive grin
I said, "Well, now it's party time!" as I let her on in....

Its This Party Sucks by Ludichrist.

Here's a you tube vid of them performing if you wanted to hear it.
    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/hM4oCejOqSM&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/hM4oCejOqSM&hl=en&fs=1&quot; type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

And a link to the lyrics here

    How about this next:
    Harry got in his car
    And turned the key
Started up and headed up the L.I.E.
Too cheap to get a real car
    Had a Volkswagon Rabbit
And that put an end to Harry's cheap habit

Ode To Harry by MOD. Now that one was easy. I loved MOD back in the day.

    How about this:

They deftly maneuver and muscle for rank
Fuel burning fast on an empty tank
Wreckless and wild they pour thru the turns
Their prowless is podent and secretly stern

It must have broke your poor little heart
When the boys used to say,
you looked better in the dark.
But now they'd give all they learnt in school
To be somewhere in the dark with you

    I remember when
I was five and you were ten, boy
You knew that I was shy
So you teased and made me cry
    But I loved you

Just think, Carl, if you didn't bump all your old threads no one would.

Here's a lyric - "No one does it better. Makes me feel sad for the rest".

Gee, I wonder what would happen to this forum if everybody bumped threads everyday like this poster?

The forum would go to ****. Quickly. Why on earth is this allowed to happen with 5-7+ threads by this one member? MODS?
