6-channel analog cables (2-3 sets)

I will be getting my blu-ray player pretty soon, so need to hook it up to the receiver together with XA2 (and maybe even get my SACD/DVD-A player out of the storage) through a 6-channel analog switcher.

Basically, looking for 2-3 sets of budget 6-channel cables. I don't want to buy a bunch of stereo cables - way too much confusion and too many cables.

I found Acoustic Research AP-036 for $25-30/set+shipping, but would be nice to find maybe something used and better quality.

    Well I do sell them cheap, but not that cheap! The AR stuff is pretty flat. In that price range I would suggest something built with Beldon Coax. Hopefully Garra will chime in.

    Outside of that Acoustic Research set, there aren't many out there for cheaper than Blue Jeans. I would know because I looked. But for how cheap they are ($5 a cable) the AR set isn't a travesty. It's not the last word in resolution or tonal accuracy, but it can get the job done for a little bit, especially if it was strictly movies through them. The only other option would be a bunch of Monoprice premium stereo pairs, which is clearly out of the question. Good luck and let us know what you find.

    Just my opinion,
    I agree w/ BEN62670. I have a roll of SIGNATURE high bandwith coax just for making myself such cables. I have 6 analogs on my Marantz 6001 for playing DVD-A and the spaciousnous and transparency blows my polk brain. Especially Weather Report tribute DVD-A. wow Cables are EZ to make and gives me alot of satisfaction that I didn't pay $$$ for MONSTER CABLE (SCAMMMM)
