My Polk Subs Split W/ My Butt Shakers

I have 2 pairs of butt shakers mounted under each seat of my couches, this is connected to an older JVC amp via speaker wires. I then have a Y-cable connected to the audio output of the DVD input on the JVC amp. My main amp, my Pio Elite 82TXS, has a Y-cable connected to the sub-out on the back of the Pio Elite, The Y-cable has a RCA cable connected to it from the JVC amp, and a sub cable to my Polk Powered sub to the other Y-cable connector. Basically, I split the Sub cable (LFE), so one runs to the sub, and the other to the amplifier powering the butt shakers. The problem is, is that there is a VERY audible Hum or buzzing from the speakers when the Butt Shakers are on. My temporary fix is that I slightly disconnected the cable at the Y-cable connection points, it's barely connected to the Y-cable, and the buzzing is gone, but when I plug it completely in, there is a loud buzzing, I don't know how to better explain this, but does anybody know what's going on here?

The sub cable and Y-cables are from monoprice, they were cheap, but I consider them to be quality cables, and It is of a thick gauge too, anyway, what's a ground loop and a cheater plug?

Thanks, i'll definitely pick one of those up, I forgot to mention that I do have all of my power plugged into a Panamax power conditioner, actually, my sub is located on the opposite side of the room and is just plugged into the wall. Thanks for the help!!

Personally, I would try to avoid the y splitters and rca connectors if possible. Everytime I've ever used them, I usually always hear a little feedback even from some good cables.

Doesn't your sub have a rca output??? I would try Pio Elite to the sub, then rca out to JVC amp.

I'm not fully understanding, I believe that the back of the sub has rca inputs and outputs, but what would that accomplish? Would the JVC amp still get the LFE signal and power my butt shakers? It sounds like a good idea, I simply just don't understand how it works or helps?
