What's your take on some of these companies & there speaker lines. To name a few: Axiom, Aperion, SVSound, Emotiva, Ascend Acoustics, AV123, Outlaw Audio, Ohm, Tyler Acoustics, Salk Sound, Lipinski Sound. Are there any others that you know of?.

All of them seem to have pretty darn good stuff, & they pretty much receive good reviews across the board. I was always curious about trying some of then out but just never got around to it.

Has anyone here tried any of them & if so what's your thoughts. Curiousity is creeping in. The new one from Aperion, the 6T looks like a killer!

I had a pair of Swan HiVi speakers for a year, they sound incredibly good for what I paid. They arent ID only, but I've never seen them on the east coast so I would call them mostly Internet direct. Try www.theaudioinsider.com

Most companies give you a 30 day trial, so really, there is no reason to be scared of trying speakers from a site if you do not believe all of the reviews, etc. like I did at first.

I started my HT speaker set-up with Hsu. They are really know for their subs but have branched out to bookshelf speakers. I still use two of the VT-12 for my surrounds and the sub. I am very happy with them. I was happy with the entire package I got from them until I caught a bad case of upgradeitis.
I also have an Emotiva amp, the LPA-1. I was afraid that I had made a bad decision by getting the LSI 15s until I got that amp. I don't think I could have done any better for the money.
Both companies had excellent reviews and I couldn't find anything negative anywhere on the web about either. Similar to Oppo, I had never heard about them until I started researching DVD players.
Adding comment about customer service for both Hsu and Emotiva. Call them, email or get on their forums they will help you out.
Like Cochise said, both had a 30 money back guarantee so how could I go wrong?

I love my SVS subs and had a terrific buying experience. The customer service is great, and they too have an unconditional 30 day money back policy. Do not hesitate to send them an email with questions, and you will likely get a same day reply. I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a HT sub.
