Hi, I have a monster power strip that recently emits a humming sound whenever I plug it in. Is there anyone here who had this problem before. Please advz. Thanks.

powerstrip
Isn't that when a CEO takes off his clothes...
Anywho,
I have not had that happen, but have you recently lost power or anything else that could surge? Is the protection light still on? -
Yes to both. I'm almost tempted to open it up but I don't exactly what to look for.

he he he...
Is it a powerstrip style, or component style? I would open it up if you can and just look around. You may not see anything, but you also may see burn marks or other tell signs. -
Don't open it, just call monster and have it replaced. They do have an excellent warranty, and good customer service.

If you open it you void the warrantyHT setup
