Hi, I have a monster power strip that recently emits a humming sound whenever I plug it in. Is there anyone here who had this problem before. Please advz. Thanks.

Isn't that when a CEO takes off his clothes...

    Anywho,
I have not had that happen, but have you recently lost power or anything else that could surge? Is the protection light still on?

Yes to both. I'm almost tempted to open it up but I don't exactly what to look for.

    he he he...

Is it a powerstrip style, or component style? I would open it up if you can and just look around. You may not see anything, but you also may see burn marks or other tell signs.

Don't open it, just call monster and have it replaced. They do have an excellent warranty, and good customer service.

Throw it away or send it back.
