    Fuses?
If you don't have fuses it could be a bad poly switch.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

    Fuse, or crossover components themselves.

How good are you with electronics?

There are schematics for them in this section. There is a polyswitch inline with the tweeter. You need to replace that. I believe they are free from polk if you tell them you are a member of the club.

    SDA2A Schematic

When it went out were you playing the music pretty loud? Did you notice the sound going or was it sudden?

What kind of stereo are you using? Reciever or Pre-amp and Amplifier?

I have two carver silver 7t mono bloc, adcom pre-amp denon 15650 CD player connected to two audio alchemy DAC.

Yes I was playing it moderately loud but I ALSO had it connected to a mixer not the pre-amp. all of a suddenly the highs just drop out.if though someone threw a blanket over them.

Search for your model of speaker and 'polyswitch' here on Polk to find pics from other threads and the same repair.

Do you have the interconnect hooked up? If so, I hope it's the AI-1. Or maybe you have the negative speaker terminals strapped on your mono-blocks??
