Well, this is the last piece of my headphone rig that I'm selling off. I was hoping to hold on to it, but at the moment the money is a bit more important than holding on to an extra amp just to have it.

I have two of these, only selling one as the other is still being used in the other headphone rig.

I have pics further down in POST 11, in addition to the crappy one attached in this post.

I'll give this a day or so on here then I'll list on Head-fi as well.

$OLD!!!

Thanks

This is a good price on a pretty good amp.

I sold the MF X-Can v3 a while back. Don't get me wrong, it was a very capable amp, but the ASL beat it hands down for me.

I hate to part with this one, but I'm now down to one headphone rig, and already have another one of these in that setup - the cash in hand is of greater importance to me right now than having an extra one of those 'just to have it'

This is the original mk 1, with the individual headphone jacks for OTL and Transformer, and also has the switch that activates or deactivates a negative feedback loop, very cool feature as it cleans up the sound a bit in transformer mode.

    Yes, Paypal would be fine.

FWIW, I did buy the MK III version from Audio Advisor a few months back, just got it in June, and I prefer the MK I to the newer version, even though the newer version has the separate power supply. I really like the negative feedback feature when in transformer mode.

One of my favorite things about this amp is that it's really two amps in one. You really do get completely different sounds when in OTL and Transformer mode, and I switch between the two regularly depending on what I'm listening to.

I guess I took for granted how easy it would be to sell this. I unpacked it and took some pictures, hopefully these link through fine.

I have a hurt right hand, but did the best I could with the pictures, I don't have my tripod handy so that made things more difficult, but these are good enough to illustrate the condition of the amp.
