Bi-amping LS15's

I have a Denon 3808CI and a pair of LSI 15's as my front channels. I know the receiver is not powerful enough to really power the LSI's, and I've been looking into buying a separate amplifier to power them.
I was curious if I could use the amp assignable speaker connections to bi-amp the LSI's. I know I would have to remove the bridges, but is there anything else that I would have to connect? I saw in another thread on these boards to try using speaker wire to connect the terminals, but I' not sure what that does or which terminals to connect.
Also, does it matter which set of connections(front or amp assignable) I connect to the top and the bottom connections of the speaker? Should I connect the front connections to the top terminals, or vice versa, or does it just not matter?
Or is this all just a waste of time and I should just buy a separate amp?
Any help you can offer is appreciated.

Use speaker wire to replace the brass plates connecting the red to red and black to black terminals on the speakers. This is more a try instead of bi-wiring rather than bi-amping though.
Personally I prefer using a single higher quality amp rather than 2 lower quality ones, but if you do not have to spend anything to test it out (already have the unused channels on your AVR) you might as well try it out and let us know what you think....

i believe on your reciever im not sure tho there is a setting for bi amping. you would use your Surround back's for it. putting your Front Left/Right Channel on the bottom terimal of the speaker and surround back on the Upper terimal. Just make sure you remove the gold plates other wise you will damage your reciever.- This your Bush?

Thanks for the help guys, I ran the wiring for the Bi-amp and I did notice an improvement. I'm still thinking about getting a strong 2-channel amp to see if I'd notice a difference; but this is definitely a better sound for now.
