My friend at work is wanting to sell a 15 year old mint krell ksa 100s amplifier. 1800$ though, how can I convince the wifey I need this amp? BTW he had it refurbed by krell and has 9 more years on warrenty. OMG I want that amp lol. I bet that krell would make my lsi9's happy. Wish me luck!

Search the web. There are a lot of KSA-100 clones out there that some people are fabricating with better components (gold plated circuit boards, high end caps, better transformers, etc.) that are actually cheaper than the original Krell and have performance specs that are exciting audiophiles to have orgasims in their pants. There are 89 pages about these clones and over 2200 posts on the audio DIY Forum. They Gerber drawings for fabricating the boards are downloadable. Ben and some of our othe hardcore DIY guys should have a blast.Carl
