Here's a crazy idea...a Club Polk around the country relay. We need to get across the country by going to meet a fellow CP member, and that person takes it to the next person, until we have all CONUS covered. Pictures mandatory. Will take some time, one person at a time, no branching allowed.

Too crazy of an idea, or just not enough bikers here?

There's at least Google Maps that lets you do it, although I think everyone will have to have google account.

Can you guys see this map: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&ll=32.843395,-97.102211&spn=0.009609,0.015063&z=16&msid=112406737468462531791.000452db194ec78f55f13

I can search my location from your map:

    http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&ll=32.843395,-97.102211&spn=0.009609,0.015063&z=16&msid=112406737468462531791.000452db194ec78f55f13

But it doesn't add it, it goes back to your default. Search Sierra Vista, Az then put it in terrain mode. Those mountains you see to the left.....are pictured below from my backyard (top center of photo):

Nice idea for a club. And yes I am a Harley guy. I got away from the crotchrockets after almost killing myself a hundred times.

    The list goes,
GSXR750(First Bike and probably best all around)
Honda Hurricane 1000 (Kept as drag bike for a while)
Suzuki GSXR1000(To fas for its own good)
Suzuki Intruder 1300(To boring even modded)
Harley Dyna Lowrider(It's a Harley, you either like or don't)

You might have to add the map to "my maps", then rclick on the link that says to add it to your maps. Or everyone can just PM me their location and I will add them. Yours should be there now.

Plan a ride where one or two or more members homes are stops where listening and maybe lunch or snacks are incorporated. Pick places 50-100 miles apart and plan out the best riding roads in between. Also no two urban homes in one ride. It would be no fun to ride from Baltimore to DC for instance. I'm bike free for the first time in 25 years right now but will be back soon. Either another BMW or a Buell 1125R when the bugs are worked out. The KTM R8 looks nice too. Here is my list of bikes owned from first to most recent which I sold in April.

    '78 Kawasaki KZ-1000A <shaft drive>
    '76 BMW R90/6
    '95 BMW R1100R
    '99 BMW R1100S

    '06 Suzuki SV-1000S
