Hey guys, i'm setting up a 6.1 system and need to find one Polk Monitor 30 (black) for the rear center channel. They only sell these as pairs at the store or on ebay and polk charges $120 for a single speaker plus shipping (which i wont do since they only cost about $100 for a pair online).

Anybody know where i can find a single speaker or have an extra one you'd like to sell?

Thanks!

Why not just do a 7.1 setup?

well actually its going to be an "8.1" system so to speak. its going to be in a fairly large room that is prewired for it (my house that is under construction). since the room is pretty long, it's going to have 2 right surround and 2 left surround (just wired in series through receiver but possibly with separate amps later on). it will only have one speaker on the back wall since the room isnt very wide and it will be a huge clutter of speakrs back there if there are 2 rear surrounds.

Yeah, I was hoping maybe (just maybe) he'd resorted to buying a pair and had one sitting in his basement or something

Welcome and educate the new comer rather than pouding him. Remember that we were there not so long ago, right?

Probably just beside the fail button, just so you have an A or B choice.
