SDA CRS + Interconnect Cable

I want to fabricate an interconnect cable for my SDA_CRS which has a blade in blade socket.........
so i think the pdf in this thread:
http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55888
which is labelled SDA CRS + 1986 Sch.pdf is the correct schematic.
I am very green and this is probably a stupid question but here it is:
Does each wire connect to the same width socket blade or does the wide blade of one end go into the narrow blade at the other end?
I normally would assume that a wire would connect the terminals of the same width - but I wanted to make sure......
Thanks

Wide goes to wide and narrow goes to narrow so you are correct. Any switching of signal is done in the x-over. I would just use standard speaker wire for the cable, and then here are the connectors:

Thanks for the info zingo - I am going to be comparing the SDA_CRS+ to the Monitor 10s this weekend before deciding which speakers I want to make modifications to first.
-
I modded my CRS+ with new x-over components, as well as altering the x-over to accept the SL3000 which was switched to the RDO198. After 200 hours or break-in on all the parts, they are FANTASTIC sounding speakers. Very warm and detailed, yet they don't over power and can be used in almost any room. I also built a custom Pin-Blade SDA cable to match my speaker cables in look, quality, and sound.

I ordered an interconnect cable from my local store, Grafitti Audio Video, here in Bethesda........can't wait to try it out. It is important to support local business - especially if they are really good to do business with.
Instead I tried hooking my amp up to the home network and started trying out internet radio. Some of the stations broadcast in very good quality.
There is a review posted here:

Thanks for the help everyone. -
He he...I forgot that you had the room with lots of speakers in a small area. But to each his own! Good luck with the same and thanks for supporting small businesses.

Got the interconnect cable yesterday. When I hooked it up this morning - my SDA-CRS+ speakers were twice as loud and the "S" sound coming from peoples voices became quite obnoxious.
I am guessing that only one woofer is powered without the interconnect and the sound I was hearing from the more quiet woofer was the result of it being a passive radiator?
Re-running the Audessy EQ tonight .........hopefully this will tame the wild little beasts. -
Dual tweeter model? If so try disconnecting the outer tweeters. This will clean the funky sound you described. The treble will be a little lower, but there is an easy fix if you like the new sound.
BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

Single tweeter model - but it was definitely different after plugging in the interconnect. I will probably make these the first speakers I upgrade with caps, resistors and tweeters after my friend in Buffalo delivers the 7Bs.

I know this is an old post but did Audessy eq tame the wild little beasts? I'm experiencing the same strong treble and thought about doing the same thing.
