Playing around with resonance. I'm sure it would work if done properly. experimented a little yesterday just to see if resonators really work and it does**.

**The experiment wasn't meant to be serious. I did it just for fun to see how much of a difference it would make.

I placed a red wine glass on top of my La Scala and placed my ear close to the opening of the glass. Whenever the speakers are playing frequencies which are a match to the wine glass' resonant frequencies, the sound coming out of the glass was quite loud. With my ears close to the glass, it was almost as loud as the mid-range horn on my speakers. Next, I placed an empty bucket next to one of the speakers, and again, whenever some upper bass notes hit, it would excite the bucket and I was able to hear it very clearly at the open end of the bucket.
So it makes sense that one could 'tune' their rig in a passive way. But then again, I don't think I would take the article too seriously because the author is the guy that sells amber, pebbles and wooden blocks. Well, I will reserve judgement until I try them (most likely won't).
