I have the LSiFX as my side surrounds & I want to add a pair of rear surrounds. Due to placement constraints, another pair of LSiFX's just won't fit. If I remenber correctly Polk made another smaller pair of the LSiFX model. But I don't see it listed any more. What would match up well with them & not as big.

If the FXs won't work, you will have to go into another line. The LSiFX is the only surround and not much different in size than LSi7.HT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable

Could always get an earlier version of the LSi7 and remove the sides making them gloss black. I hear it looks pretty nice...Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms) -

Guess it depends on what is the real limiting factor in size for the FXs. The LSi7 is definitely narrower and has a traditional bookshelf form. And it's lighter. I'd say it looks far less imposing and might pass WAF where the 4 driver FX that looks twice as wide might not. Also, if all you need is a timbre match but need it tucked out of the way, you might consider LCi in-wall/ceiling speakers. They have the same ring tweeter.
