Went to the Airshow on Saturday and got some great shots.
I uploaded 84 pictures to flickr if anyone is interested in seeing them.

Here is a little preview from one of my favorite shots. F-18 on the edge of breaking sound forming a vapor cone. I got the wing reflection inside the cone.

whoa, that is a cool pic. The airshows are always a blast. If you ever get to DC, check out the Marine Corps Silent Drill Team. I know irrelevent to your thread, but considering all things military those guys are insane. Cool pics though.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

Thanks, it was my first time ever shooting airplanes. They are tuff to get in frame when your zoomed way in and they are blasting by at fast speeds. Navy does some pretty cool land/sea demonstrations too.My Home Theater (WIP):

Excellent job catching the F18 reflection like that.
Took a look at your other pics: cool !
I liked the one of the F15C; was he doing some sort of speed break manuever or something ?
(about 17 pix after the Stealth pix).Sal Palooza -

I didn't realize you can't see the larger pictures on flickr. When I am logged into my account I can see them larger. I guess that keeps people from printing your pictures.
Is this the picture you're referencing? He was doing a high speed fly by on the flight line and then was transitioning into a vertical climb. When he pulled back on the plane you get the vapor or whatever it is coming off the wings.

Yeah you can't beat the admission price of FREE Getting out of the show however was a nightmare. They basically had 100,000 people all trying to leave through a single lane. It took us 3 hours to get out of the parking lot after the show.My Home Theater (WIP):
