I may be able to help you out as I am in Ontario, Canada and am selling my RM system, soon to be posted. The color of the speakers is titanium. I am selling a pair of RM 201s, a pair of RM 30s (The largest ones) and a large RM 302 center channel. I am the original owner, have owned them for 2.5 years however they have not been used for 8-9 months now, original boxes, original reciepts, etc.

I would be interested in letting go of the pair of RM 201s for <$250 canadian (as I live in Canada). If you are still interested let me know. Since I planned on posting my items for sale this Friday I will be looking up the shipping anyway. Where are you located?

    Hi Pofcorn,

I checked the shipping from P0P 1K0 (me!) to you G6H 2L6 (you). The speakers come in individual boxes (approx. 42 cm x 22 cm x 45 cm) and I would ship with 200$ insurance each and Xpresspost (2 bussiness days, signature required, tracking). They can be yours for $250 CAD, shipping/insurance included. I can send pictures upon request of the speakers.

My email is zx_toth @ yahoo.com if you want to discuss the speakers, payment or if you have questions/ concerns. If you decide to go through paypal I will go splits on the the 3% charge.

The reason why you cant send PM's is that you havent accumulated enough posts to 'earn' to PM :( but if you stick around here than its only a matter of time. Thanks for your interest.

    Talk soon.

    zx_toth,
I'd be interested in the RM302, I'm in Ontario too (Oshawa), how much you want?
(I wanted to PM but I'm a newbie too)

PS. Just for kicks, how much do you want for them all (the RM30 x2 and RM302)

    Hi Alex,

Alas you are not too late, I was too lazy this week to post my remaining speakers; i.e. take pictures, get sample shipping quotes, etc., so I still have them.

I would be willing to part with all three speakers; RM 30 x 2, and RM 302 center speaker for a cool $450 + shipping. Thats 150$ per speaker, which I think is fairly reasonable considering I paid retail minus a 10% sale for these puppies (approx. $500 each!). Lesson learned: dont pay full retail! If shipping cost is too ridiculous we may be able to work something out to make it more reasonable.

They are 2.5 years old, well taken care of, smoke free environment. Original boxes, inserts, stands. I havent used the front left and right speakers for 7 months so they are well rested for a new owner.

You can email me at zx_toth @ yahoo.com if you have anymore detailed questions about them. Additionally I could send you pictures of the speakers upon request, they are in excellent condition, no dents, scratches or the like on them. If you give me your postal code I can look up shipping. They come in seperate boxes.

    Let me know.

    Best regards,

    Zsolt

Well, unfortunately, as much as I want to jump on all 3, I just can't spend that much ATM (not because you're asking for too much, I just don't have that much to spend).

If you're willing to part with just the center (RM302), could you let me know how much the shipping is?

I'd love to get the RM30's off of you at a later date but I'm afraid I can't guarantee when that will be, and that's totally not fair to you.

Let me know what you think about the center.

    -Alex

Forgot about postal code: L1J 1X8

    Hi Alex,

Im certainly interested in selling the RM302 to you. Im willing to let it go for the aforementioned 150$+shipping. Ill get back to you on the cost of shipping tonight as I need to measure the boxes to input that into 'canadapost.ca shipping estimator'.

The shipping cost will include Xpresspost (2 day shipping/tracking), signature requirment and insurance on the package to make sure everything is covered.

I would be happy to accept cheque (once cheque clears, item shipped), money order, or payment through paypal (add 2.5%,as I recently found paypal adds 4.9% rather than 3% which I thought, so Ill go spilts on the ~4.9% charge). Through paypal I will ship same day or next day upon reciept of payment.

As far as the RM30s go Ill eventually post them on the Flea Market and if they go they go, if they dont they will still be around when and if you are ready for them! :)

    Best regards,

    Zsolt

Well, got the speakers today. I placed them as fronts to replace the RM101s that were there, so now I have:

    Fronts: RM6901s (or RM201s)
    Center: RM202
    Surrounds: RM101s
    Surround backs: RM101s (old fronts)
    Sub: PSW10
    Receiver: Pioneer 1017

Actually, the backs are not hooked up yet because I'm waiting for my 16awg wires from monoprice. Once I do, I'll hook them up and also rewire the whole setup, I'm using some average quality 18awg wires, so it will definitely be a good upgrade.

But for now I'm really happy with my setup, because the other reason I wanted the 201s was to get better sound quality, especially for music. And I'm not dissapointed at all with them, music sounds much more "there", for a lack of better wording.

All in all, very happy with my purchase, thanks a lot zx_toth!

pofcorn: Its always exciting to upgrade parts of one's system! Its very addicting, I should know :D

axle: The shipping cost for the center speaker at 19 lbs and dimensions of 27 cm x 27 cm x 73 cm is $23 for Xpresspost 2days, signature, and $500 insurance.

Give me an email at my personal email, zx_toth@yahoo.com if you wish to proceed so we can discuss more. Let me know, take care.

So, I got my RM7302 a couple days ago and did some brief testing.

The speaker did exactly what I wanted it to which was to improve dialog. Definitely widens the soundstage quite a bit (drivers are 1" bigger and tweeter is 0.25" bigger than RM202) and well worth it. I truly find the RM series seriously underrated for HT use and can't believe more people don't look at them (for non-music applications). Although, I have heard the cheaper RM6750 set and those I could understand being disappointed with since I thought they weren't that great either. The RM10/20/30/40/50 sets were all phenomenal.

I'm sooooo kicking myself now for passing on zx_toth's RM7300s (same speaker, just vertical alignment) now that I can't find a set of RM towers. I guess its not all bad since I'd basically be spending money that I don't have to get speakers I would still want to upgrade to towers.

If anyone has a set of RM40T/50T (or its cousins 7400T/8000T), please message me as I'm trying to look for a pair.

    Great speaker, thanks again zx_toth

I did, I take it you're the gentleman that purchased his RM30s? lol

I was just talking to him and it appears we're both interested in each others speakers....lol.

I'm on the fence now as to whether to stick to my guns and hold on the RM7302 (and try to find some RM towers) or sell the RM7302 and move on to something else (ie VM series).

    What are your prospects like?
