Anyone else see the boys on the Colbert Report? First American TV appearance in 33 years. Alot of questions to Neil and they played "Tom Sawyer" as their song.
Wish he could've interviewed them longer.

1st time I watched that show, and THEY were the reason. I knew he'd ask them stupid questions, which was great. Their reactions to the questions show they still get a kick out of it. No ego's:pI refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!

I'm hoping somebody smarter than me can tell me how to embed a youtube video into my post like I've seen done, because I have no clue how to do it. But here's the link to Rush appearance on Cobert:

Pretty funny, but I wish Cobert hadn't started **** around during the song. But when he asked if the name of the next album will be "That's ****" because they haven't been inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame, I got a real good laugh...Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance. -
DISGUSTING fact: Madonna got in b-4 Rush. Are ya F*ckin' KIDDING me!?:mad:I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!

This interview reminded me that I completely ignored Snakes and Arrows. So, I went out and bought it... no review yet, haven't had a chance to sit down with it.Ludicrous gibs!

One of their better albums in awhile. You will be pleasantly surprised I think.
Agreed. I'm a Rush fan from way back in the day (my first album was Permanent Waves, but 2112 was what really got me hooked!) I haven't been into new Rush in a LONG time. But S&A is a really good album, they've very much gone back to their roots with this one. It's got a lot of the hardness of their older music, but a lot of acoustic guitar overlayed. It's a fine album.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance. -
I'm listening to it now, on my PC rig I bought the wrong disc (which is kind of embarrassing for a PC guy). What I bought is their special edition DVD, which I thought also came with the CD album, but alas, there's only one disc. Now I'll have to go back and get the CD version so I can rock out to it on the SDAs.
So far, I like what I'm hearing, though. MUCH MUCH better recording quality than Vapor Trails. The DVD version does have mp3 versions of the songs on it, which is awesome that they not only allow, but actually provide them to you. Unfortunately, they're only 192kbps, and no way to rip them higher, since they're pre-made.Ludicrous gibs!
