Difference between FXi5 and FXi6
Hello,
I just purchased some RTi12's and a CSI5 center channel on the way to building a HT with a Denon AVR-4308ci. On the Polk site it recommends FXi5 for the surrounds, yet I don't seem to be able to find them at stores. Crutchfield shows them discontinued and recommends FXiA6, is this true?
So what is the proper matched speaker for this set up if the FXi5 is no longer available?
Thanks:)

FXI5s have been phased out and replaced by the newer Fxia6. Have you seen them yet, they are huge in size, depending on your room I would go for a pair of FXia4s for side surrounds with a pair of Rti4s as your rears. Both speakers perform well, and as a matter of fact I run that very same setup. My dedicated room is 14x22.
But to answer your question the FXia6 will match up perfectly with the Rti12s and Csi5. Nice choice on the Denon as well.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!
