Custom built 3-way dipole speakers

As some of you may know I traveled out of the commercial speaker scene a few years ago and have been diligently designing and building loudspeakers ever since. In that time I've seen thousands of DiY speakers and have had the pleasure of listening to a few hundred and speaker building events. This year I had the pleasure of listening to a pair of Jed Kunz's Tombstones, a 3-way dipole speaker with a monopole woofer. All Seas Excel woofers were used (top of the line) with a specially modified Seas waveguide tweeter. Folks, you will have a very hard time finding a speaker that sounds like these do in the 5-10k range. Jed is one of the best speaker designers out there and after having the opportunity to spend some time chatting with him at the recent Dayton Ohio DiY speaker event I have even more respect for him.
With that, if anyone is looking to steal a great set of speakers and is in near Rochester NY (Jed will drive a good distance, too) I HIGHLY recommend you give these guys a listen and try to resist them!
Here's a pic of the crossover network Jed built for them. Just the crossovers cost over $600 in parts:

Very nice job. The finish is sweet. Nice use of erse, and jantzen coils.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

Beautiful wood grain and at $1800 for a pair of hand made speakers, a steal of a price! Someone buy them and share with us how they sound.

He just finished that project, and selling them already... How did they sound Maz? which speaker beat them at dayton diy?
That project really has me interested. I just have a hard time dropping 2 grand on DIY speakers that I don't get to hear until they're finished. it was even difficult to spend $500 or so on my Modula MTM's.Sony KDL-40V2500 HDTV, Rotel RSX-1067 Receiver, Sony BDP-S550 Blu-ray, Slim Devices Squeezebox, Polk RTi6, CSi3 & R15, DIY sub with Atlas 15 -
Great looking speakers and I assume sound even better. I was looking at his website and he has some impressive stuff. These would be a fantastic buy for someone in the area.
