One PolyGram Rush Moving Pictures LP. SRM-1-4013. This LP went 4x Platinum with worldwide sales of 6,700,000. Bob Ludwig initially mastered Moving Pictures on vinyl and it is recognized as a very good recording. Masterdisk & the initials RL (Robert Ludwig) appear in the dead wax.

I'd rate the jacket as good and the LP very good. If you don't have one, it might rate even better.;) The original inner sleeve is also included.

The only requirements are you must have a turntable and declare yourself in.

Karma ends Sunday, July 20, 4PM CST. 84 year old Irene will draw the winners name from a stylish hat.

As an option, tell us about your favorite Rush studio, compilation or live LP.

Count me in. Moving Pictures is by far, my favorite Rush album. The VPI would love to play it! I only have this classic on a crummy music club CD.

    I. Am. INNNNN....

I love Rush, and need to expand my record collection!

Favorite live Rush concert has got to be the Live In Rio concert for the Vapor Trails tour. Vapor Trails as an album sucked big time... very poor recording quality. But that concert DVD is tops in my book!
    Ludicrous gibs!

    I shouldn't be bought.
    What were you offering again?:D
The wife would love to go back to Hawaii and deliver this personally!

j/k Irene is real serious about this Karma thing being fair.

My slide trombone playing bud Norm (Normanality) is a closet headbanger and a big Rush fan. He had a bud that helped set up the electrical for Spirit and Moving Pictures tours in Chicago. He got backstage passes (and couldn’t hear for three days…). A real friend would have shared though. Norm said it was a real treat watching Peart work!

SWEEET! IN! (just got my rega P2 a couple of weeks ago)

Favorite rush, I'll just have to say is their older stuff. A show of hands is the timeless live album, with The Rhythm Method. Most of the stuff after Chronicles is hard for me to get into. Anything prior is my fav.

In please. I had it on Vinyl untill The Great Melt of '88. Probably my favorite Rush album. I have a MFSL copy of Moving Pictures on CD that Neil sent me and it would be interesting to compare the two. It would look and sound great spinning on my Pro-Ject Xpression III.

    Cool Karma

The only reason I am parting with this LP is I have a Holland pressing of it now, and a Japanese pressing with Obi on the way. I guess I like this LP.;)

Entries are closed. I gotta pry the book out of Irene's hand and get the hat trick ready. I'll be back shortly with the winner.
