...a BAD sci-fi flick? I mean "C" movie sci-fi's, the really cheesey ones will poor acting, no plot, and terrible effects? I'm hooked on the "Chiller" channel on direct tv, that **** is so hilarious I cannot resist it. The worse/more hokey it is, the better. I saw this dinosaur one the other night that never even showed the dinosaur, it just kept showing the people running, and guts and stuff on the ground---talk about low budget--I love it.

I LOVE CHEESEY SCI-FI FLICKS! :D

Every once in a while, yes! Sometimes I flip over to the SciFi channel and sometimes there will be a low-budget movie on where you can see the wires holding up the props and it's so bad it's entertaining!

I was watching "Friday the 13th, part 5,613" last night--hil-frickin-larious. How many times does the dumb chic gotta go out into the woods, then into the dark shed, just to be slashed up, cause she's scared to stay in the well lit cabin? LOL!! I love it. Funny thing about this one, (a very young) Kevin Bacon was actually in it. Having real actors almost ruined it for me.

I remember trudging thru a Friday the 13th marathon a couple of years ago. Absolute gold.
You should really look into anything put out by Troma. Combat Shock is one of my all-time favorites.

    Night of the Lepus.

"Cole Hillman's Arizona ranch is plagued with 'mongrel' rabbits, and he wants to employ an ecologically sound control method. As a favor to college benefactor Hillman, college president Elgin Clark calls in zoologist Roy Bennett to help. Bennett immediately begins injecting rabbits with hormones and genetically mutated blood in an effort to develop a method of disrupting rabbit reproduction. One of the test subjects escapes, resulting in a race of bloodthirsty, wolf-sized, man-, horse-, and cow-eating bunnies. Eventually the National Guard is called in for a final showdown with the terrorizing rabbits"

You'll never look at a rabbit the same way again....

If you've never seen "Plan 9 from Outer Space" you're missing perhaps the funniest sci-fi flick ever made that wasn't intended to be a comedy!

Where do you think that the idea for Mystery Science Theater 3000 came from?
In the not too distant future, a man and his robots are trapped on the Satellite of love, where evil scientists force them to sit through the worst movies ever made.

    MST was absolutely great stuff.

I love sci-fi and horror that is so completely retarded that you can't believe they actually made it. For instance, one night on USA I caught what I consider to be the ultimate in "Wow, they got financing for this?" cinema. It was called PINATA: SURVIVAL ISLAND.

Try not to laugh, but here's the synopsis from IMDB: "Teens trapped on an island are haunted by a demon hidden inside...a pinata."

Seriously... It was so dumb that it ended up being incredibly enjoyable.
    Equipment list:
    Onkyo TX-NR3010 9.2 AVR
    Emotiva XPA-3 amp
Polk RTi70 mains, CSi40 center, RTi38 surrounds, RTi28 rears and heights
SVS 20-39CS+ subwoofer powered by Crown XLS1500
    Oppo BDP-93 Blu-ray player
    DarbeeVision DVP5000 video processor
    Epson 8500UB 1080p projector
Elite Screens Sable 120" CineWhite screen

If you have Netflix, they have tons of episodes. If you don't know, MST3K is basically the worst movies and educational videos of all time with added commentary from two robots and a human. It is absolute comic gold and probably my all-time favorite show. Some of that schlock needs to be seen to be believed.
