Hooked it up tonight and watched some TV and listened to some music. I have read that some people aren't happy with the C. So far I'm very happy with the sound that I'm getting. The C blends better with the 15s than the old center that I was using. At the same time I seem to be getting better separation in the surround sound.
I am a happy camper!!

Time to knock out that wall and claim some more space. ;)

Are you driving them with a HK receiver as pre-pro with an MPS-2? If so, you should be happy with the sound. I use to have that combo to power my LSis and the sound that they produce is phenomenal!

I have been itching to uprgrade my CSI3 to A LsiC for weeks now....just need to take the plunge I think. Where did you pick yours up from? The best retail deal I found so far was for $359.

The LSI C blends well with my 9's for a seamless front soundstage.

Jer War, I'd check here (maybe post a WTB thread), Audiogon, Amazon, Ebay, and Craigslist.

I've seen them go from $250 (used) to $350 (new) in most cases.

It's a HK AVR 435 and Emotive LPA-1 and I do love the sound. I am on the pre-release list for the UMC-1 when it comes out.

Speaker wise all I need is a set of LSI FX for surrounds and hopefully I'll be done speaker shopping, for awhile anyway.

I got mine directly through Polk. Beware of those places selling them for cheap, especially if you are looking at highdecibels.com. That place has a bad rep and I had tried to buy from them back in early spring before I found out about them. It took several months to get my money back.

I'm on the preorder list for the UMC-1 too. HK is not bad as a pre-pro but I feel that it's the weakest link in my rig and can't wait to replace it with a next-gen processor!
