I don`t read Russian , so I don`t know what else is on the box, other than made in Russia-imported by New York Audio Labs..

I bougt these new 4 or 5 years ago and never used them, until I found them in with my 6922/6dj8 stash awhile ago

I have them in the front of my V12 , and they sound very clear...crisp

I like them.....not sure if the combo I have in the V12 is optimal, but it sound pretty damn good !!

EL84`s are JJ Tesla`s
SEL 34 SED "c" wings for the drivers

anybody else running these tubes ?

    Decent tubes. Worth the asking price last time I checked. They're pretty much the earlier version of EH 6922. Try some JJ 6922 or Ei 6DJ8. They performed better in my rig than the commies.

    I was using the JJ`s and thought I would try out the Commies..

    I do like the JJ`s....I have the whole front end of the amp running JJ`s, and I have a pair of Ei`s also...

    I would like to try some different EL84`s also

    Since you've tried almost all the current production, try some NOS. Pulls from consoles and scopes on ebay can be had at very good prices if you're patient.

    What EL84 are you currently using? I find that once in a while, I like to run all the same brand from signal to power tubes. The current production stuff usually have a "house sound" and if you really like, say, JJ, running all JJ will give you plenty of their characteristics.
