Great movie, IMO, even better than the first, I even liked it better than Ironman. Dr. Johann Krausse was a great addition to the team. Nuada, the bad guy, was great villain, very purpose driven, not just crazy/mad or greedy, but seemed to have a some what honorable goal. Defiantly worth checking out

I dunno man... it left me feeling empty. I so so so wanted to love this movie, but I just didn't. It felt forced at times, but was still well done.

If you are a fan of the first one, then it is worth the viewing. Maybe after seeing Wanted in the theater, this one just left me wanting... hah.

It wasn't that much action, IMO. Lot's of cool creatures to look at and some pretty spiffy special effects, but i dunno. I wanted more.

    6.5 outta 10 here.

I loved the first one (not crazy about how it ended, though). Looked forward to this one. Enjoyed it but wasn't thrilled. I guess the best way to put it is to say at least they didn't muck up the sequel.

Loved how large and grand some of the scenes were. I appreciated more props and less CGI. I loved the light hearted humor and sing along. Prince Nuada is a badass and almost stole the show.

What I didn't like was the lack of fight scenes, no new revelations about Hellboy except for a minor glimpse at the past, a castrated (figuratively) Tom Manning, severe lack of coordinated fighting from the BPRD, and lack of emotional depth. Would have liked to see Liz go nuts when Hellboy's life was on the line. Simple script. Very predictable.

Still, I look forward to Hellboy 3.

If I had to complain about something in HB2 it would be the lack of CGI, I felt like it especially hurt the fight scenes with Nuada, I noticed a couple of times that the motion had clearly been speed up to make the fight seem alot faster, and since they where using actors instead of CGI it really limited them on what they could do with the fight scenes, maybe thats why a couple of you felt like ''there wasn't enough action in the fights''.
