Very Early Pair of Monitor 7's

I picked up a pair of monitor 7 speakers this morning. One of them was missing the serial number tag but the number on the other on was 00027. These speakers have the 8" passive radiator and use MW6500 midwoofers and peerless tweeters. They also do not have any fuses on them. One of the midwoofers is frozen and one of the surrounds for the passive had a tear in it. I did a temporary repair on the passive surround and took a midwoofer out of my monitor 10's so I could listen to these. They sound very nice, not quite as much bass as the monitor 10's but that was to be expected. Anyway if anyone knows where I might find an 8" rubber surround for the passive I would appreciate it. Also in the market for one MW6500 driver.

very very cool.
MCM Electronics used to sell rubber surrounds for generic replacement use. I don't know if they still do, and (even if they do) I don't know if they would fit the 8" polk PR. I cannot ever recall seeing an original Monitor Series Model 7 (its 'real' name) in the flesh.
