Need Computer Related Help

I just recently purchased a laptop and would like to transfer all of my emails and contacts from my old computer onto my new laptop. I am not all that computer savvy so I would need layman's instructions for this.

    what were you using for email before. Outlook, outlook express?
    Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects.     Try this tutorial. I've done it before, it takes a little finesse but it's doable.
