How Far Apart?

I'm going to be adding back surround speakers to my system. Thanks to Face I know how high they should be but I can't find anywhere in Polk's documentation how far apart they should be.
Right now my three front RM202's are at (couch) listening level and my two surround RM8's are 38" high using Polk's SA3 speaker stands.
I'll be using my other two RM101's against the back wall and 60" apart (30" off the center line of my living room for each).
Any suggestions?

I would try placing them no less than the distance that your front speakers are apart. I have always placed them a little wider than the fronts, but it's all trial and error.

Well, actually, before he defected, Polk Paul recommended the Back Surr. be closer together, I would move them around a bit (if possible) and see what you like. Since Paul is gone you could contact Ken Swauger for the details.

i would say... 6ft and/or more would be good for surround speakers. mine are just over 9.0' apartPolkFest 2012, who's going>?

Thanks for the replies. I'll call Ken and then probably end up moving them depending on what he says.Be gentle, I'm new to all this...
