Well I received a Technics TT a long time ago from a fellow Polkie in a karma. I had it setup before, but out of the 300 albums my buddy had they all were scratched. Lots of snap crackle pop. I just bought two albums yesterday for .50 each. One was Genesis Land of Confusion 12" single. Well no snap crackle pop, butt was flat as could be. I was using some RCA RCA cables. I made a quick set of Silvers an I am surprise how good a cheap table can sound. I will be shopping for more records soon. Its a pain when I have the girls, but some afternoon I'll hit the thrift stores again:)

Stay away from my side of town if you are looking for vinyl!!!
Actually, I haven't bothered to look for vinyl in quite a long time. I still have at least 100 records that I need to clean and listen to back from my hoarding days.

What kind of cartridge are you using?

Ben,, if you are ever in North Atlanta,,check out the Goodwill next to "Tweeter" on Roswell Road, then slide on down the street to "Amina Audio", a little hole in the wall, but plenty of tube gear,,then if you're up for it,,drop by Audio Atlanta(on the square in May'retta). From there, grab a lunch, while you're on the square, then it's off to "Sweeties Flea Market" which is close to AMS. But seriously,,check out Amin's place, call before you go,though.

Yeah, you'll want to carpool. That trip from Conyers > Buckhead > Marietta > Hampton and back to Conyers is about 135 miles!

I didn't realize there was a Goodwill in Buckhead. I bet they get some decent stuff there.
