Finally. After almost 40 years as a recording band, Rush finally got an interview in Rolling Stone ! It's about time. My only beef is that they didnt get the cover as well. They put Obamas mug on it again. Enough already, the boys from Canada deserve the cover. Anyway, the writing was excellent and it really shows how much the guys in the band like and care for one another, which is probably why they have stayed together for so long. I spent over $1000 to fly down to Portland to see them last July and it was worh every penny. Long live the greatest existing rock band on the planet!

They are a great band and it shows by standing the test of time.
    If...

Ron loves a film = don't even rent.

They've never been in RS, until NOW? I hate that RAG anyway, but wtf took so long?

JMO, I think the reason they've lasted this long is the COMPLETE lack of EGO'S.
Unlike the rest of R & R. i.e. Metallica, GNR etc.

Maybe they should have taken the same aproach as Dr. Hook....write a song about not being on the cover. Less than six months after the song debuted Dr. Hook was on the cover.

Seems to me they didn't need Rolling Stone to get them anywhere so who gives a **** how long it took.

Um, that really wasnt my point. I realize they dont need RS to legitimize them. All I meant was that it was long overdue.

I just think it's funny that all these so called 'music jounalist' ALWAYS pick the WRONG horse. I bet they all predicted Traci Chapman to be next Bob Dylan. DOH!
