Front Speakers Polk DB6750 - 6 3/4 componants
Rear Speakers Polk DB460 - 4x6 coaxial
Sub Polk -MM2104 10in sealed encloser
This is in a 1998 ext-cab Pickup all speakers in factory locations.
RF- 60in.
LF- 42in.
RR-48in.
LR- 30in.
These distances are from speaker to center of driver seat where my head is located:o..
Any help would be great, Thanx

Well, according to my HU manual, the equation for timing setting is:
A = (B - C) / 34
A: Delay time (ms)
B: Distance from listening position to furthest speaker (cm)
C: Distance from listening position to the speaker to be adjusted (cm)
Essentially your farthest speaker would be offset at 0.0ms and everything else is 'pushed back' from you listening position. If you have a sub that is farther than your RF speaker, that should be 0.0. You will have to convert the distance to centimeters also or else this function will not work. I dont know the one for inches.
I'm too busy at work right now to do the math for you too./////ALPINE INA-W900 HU

Cool!!
1in=2.54cm TD is Time Delay
RF-60in=152.4 TD=0.0
LF-42=106.68 TD=1.34
RR-48=121.92 TD=.89
RL-30=76.2 TD=2.24Well, according to my HU manual, the equation for timing setting is:

When you get a chance please check my math:o.
Thanx for your help.http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3228763

For the "easy way" to set up the time alignment, sit in the driver's seat, select a mono source (AM radio) with talk radio, enter the T/A function...slowly add delay incrimentally to the left front channel until the spoken voice clearly sounds like it's coming from dead center in the dash (or dead center in front of your listening position if you prefer, but some feels this mucks with staging).
BTW- I had a 9813. Nice head unit. -

Looks right to me. You will find that Greg is also correct. This calculation is just a solid starting point. After I set mine using the math, I moved them + or - a few increments to adjust them how they sounded best.
Your head is almost never exactly where you measured all the time.;)/////ALPINE INA-W900 HU
