2 Channel System

I'm selling off one of my 2 channel systems to help fund another purchase.
Due to the size and nature of the speakers i'm selling, this is going to be local pick up (DFW area) only. I'd really like to keep this as a set because I think the amp and speakers are soul mates and really don't want to split them up, both sound good on their own, but they're a perfect match and sound fantastic when paired together.
Price is $275.
I don't have pictures of the setup in it's current configuration handy, but can take soe pictures if there's serious interest.
So here's what I've got:
EZ as Pie speakers - Yes I've listed these for sale on here before, but never consumated a deal with anyone. I bought these a while back from Russ, and have enjoyed my time with them. They have a great 'live' sound to them, they're very fun to listen to.
Here's the original thread where Russ introduced them to the forum.

Here's where I bought them from Russ:

HCT Integrated Tube Amplifier - This is the amp component of that HCT ipod tube thingy that people were buying at the end of last year. From what I understand it's identical to the Fatman model that AA sells. This is the Integrated only, the Ipod thingy is not included.
I bought this from Sami earlier this year. Honestly when I listened to it at his place on some R series I thought it sounded like ****, but decided to buy it anyway knowing that my speakers are very efficient. I got home and hooked it up and....wow!! That's what made me take the speakers off the market at the time and I've been enjoying the setup for months. The amp is plenty enough to power these speakers to high volumes, I was surprised how strong the amp is when paired with some efficient speakers.
CD Player - I'll throw in any one of the following to use as a CDP, you choose. Toshiba SD-3980, Toshiba SD-3990, Denon DVD 1910 (also a very capable dvd player).
Cables - Signal Cable Analog II, probably 2 ft length but i can measure.
I'm going to regret letting go of this one, but I've got other non-audio related stuff that I need to take care of at the moment, so need to move this along.
Guys, that's a whole 2 channel setup for $300 - you won't find a better setup for the price, period.

What are the odds of someone not knowing where the '7th circle of hell' is? I'd say pretty good. (ie location??)
-
where ya at ?? Circle of hell sounds like where I work :D
-
I'm in the Dallas, Tx area
-
I'll try a couple bumps before I completely give up. TTT
-
Friday bump, and price lowered to $275.
-
I have wanted those damn speakers since the first time they were for sale.
You should move to NC so i can buy em. Its the 8th circle if you werent sure.
DaveOnce again we meet at last. -
Another bump...
-
I'd buy it if you shipped it.
-
I'd paypal the $$ right now.
-
What would make you ship em'?
-
Yeah, can't do shipping on these speakers, wouldn't even know where to start, but I'm sure it would cost me at least $100 to find packing materials and ship them...
-
$275 for that is insane... Some one in TX needs to scoop that up!
-
Are you traveling to Tampa, FL?

I love how music can brighten up a bad day. -
Sorry, no - local pick up in Dallas, Tx only
-
Sunday Bump
-
If the iPod thingy was included, I'd look for a reason to drive up to Dallas.
I'd love to hear those speakers. -
One more bump for now then I'll let this one fall off the radar for a while.
-
Bump. OK, I really do need to move these at this point, so I'm offering up a couple of options.
1 - Take the whole system as advertised in the original thread - $275 delivered in the Dallas area.
2 - I need to move the speakers the most, so those I'd be willing to sell separately for $150.
3 - I need to put together a small system for my desktop PC, so I'd be looking for trades towards that end - so preferably a 2 channel ss integrated am or a set of small bookshelf monitors (something about the size of the R15, but a little higher end) -
Christmas bump
Make me an offer -
how much for the cables shipped to Iowa? if you would split it up.
PaytonPolk monitor 10B's and 5 jr's
Adcom gfa 5500 and HK/240
Adcom gtp 400
Adcom gcp 600
MusicHall MMF 2.1 TT -
I'm not really looking to split it up, need to move the speakers more than anything.
If the speakers sell I may be willing to sell the other pieces, will have to think on prices though -
2009 Bump!
-
I'd be on this if you were in Houston.
-
Houston's only 4 hours away, I'd be willing to drive a couple hours and meet you halfway to make this happen. It would have to be for the whole setup though, can't really justify driving 4 hours round trip for just the speakers...
-
Needs the iPod thingy.
-
Are you willing to sell/ship one of the dvd players? If so let me know. Send me email to vrao81(AT)gmail com since I cant receive pm's yet.
-
Still up for sale
-
Bump, and still open for trades
-
Dang... I wish I lived in Tx.
-
*Bump* I am especially interested in the HCT amp. Is it still available and are you willing to ship it/sell it seperately?
Thought I'd give it a shot
