Guys and Gals,
I am looking to dabble in seperates and have come across a local seller with a Carver AV-405 amplifier. I have purchased and Outlaw 950 pre-pro and was wondering how the Carver would perform for HT duty. I only have a satellite system (see signature) and have heard the "you should get 250 w/ch" before. But, on a budget and not interested in blowing out the windows, How would this amp perform in your opinions? Also, asking price is $250 - is that a fair deal? I have no idea about used gear value. Any help, as always, is greatly appreciated.
