Speaker cutting out
I was watching TBS HD on Directv today, and at 2 different moments the sound stopped and i heard a quick scratchy static type noise coming from my front speakers. My speakers are all brand new, RTi10's, CSiA6, and i'm running them off of a Pioneer Elite 92. Has anyone ever had something like this happen before, could it just be the source that made it happen?

It would be nice if you shared the answer with us in case someone else has the same problem.Political Correctness'.........defined

if it was on Direct TV then it was probably just satellite interference.. it's been happening to me for about a week now.. before that, it was rock solid. now every hour or so a small 1/2 second audio and video blip will occur. static in the attic from ch ZPolkFest 2012, who's going>?

I found at that it was just source related and was nothing to worry about. Directv and Comcast are known to have audio breakups occasionally. It never happens on any other source of mine besides Directv. -
I have the same issue with dish network. It's really not a problem but to a perfectionist like me it can be a bit annoying...:(.

Hey no problem, glad this thread could help someone:D. -
Just to follow up, I spent an hour on a live chat with someone from Dish Network. They had me run a few diagnostics and satellite switching. I was told it may take a few days to thoroughly diagnose the situation. It may lead to them replacing the reciever. I'll keep posting till the issue is resolved just for informational purposes.Pioneer VSX-D608 reciever
