Hey, hopefully this is the right place to put this. Anyways, i was hoping someone could tell me if, i am running 800watts at 2 ohms to the db212-2 if that'd kill them? on the site it says those subs handle 720watts continuous, but 1500 peak...if anyone can tell me that'd be great thanks.

So long as you dont have the gain set to high heaven and youre listening to MUSIC and not trying to blow your windshield out, itll be fine. That amp is a nice match for the 212-2 just use common sense. If you hear the subs distorting or sounding like theyre bottoming out, they are and youre overdriving them.

Yes. If you hear them bottoming out, turn down your gain.

I call it 'burping'. At least I think thats the sound. I may be describing a different issue.
