Surround: FXI A4 or A6

Right now I'm using some bookshelves for surrounds, but they are close to the seating area and are very easily localized.

I'm going to buy some FXI, but I'm unsure whether to save some money and buy A4s for around $250, or go all out and get the FXI A6s for $500 (cheapest I've seen is 399.99).

Is the 6.5 inch woofer really that much improvement over the 5.25 in the A4? I dont mind spending the extra cash, because it can be recuperated by selling the free sub from Crutchfield...I would think.

These will be used with RTi a9, btw. I've done searches all over, but nobody has seemed to directly compare these two speakers.

Thanks for any help.

Nobody? Ah well, I'll just keep looking for a good deal on the A6s then.

I have RTI8 and CSi5 up front which are all 6.5" woofers. I went with the FXi A4 to complete my 7.1 setup and they sound great. In my opinion, not enough of a movie or game's sound uses the surround channels to need the larger FXi A6. I watch a lot of Blu-rays with DTS-MA, PCM, and TrueHD all of which direct loss less sound to the sides and rears with no problems at all.
