I saw that a little while ago. Kind of makes you think, doesn't it?

Alright.....Why am I hearing about this video HERE, not on Glenn Beck, Fox news, etc?
Not doubting the validity of the vido, but WTF?I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE! -
Well I just sent a link to it to the fox news channel.....I'm also going to get it out to anyone and everyone I can think of........Testing

I'm sure Lindsey's statements are true. Maybe the reason you haven't seen it on the news is the book (The Energy Non Crisis) was originally published in 1980. I think it is still in print.Without music to decorate it, time is just a bunch of boring production deadlines or dates by which bills must be paid. ..... Frank Zappa

hhhmmmm wonder when that date is ??

I'm surprised he barely mentioned the collusive Banksters.-Ignorance is strength -

It started this year, the only oil market that isn't USD denominated. -
Boring, I gave up after 25 minutes on the 4th time he mentioned that gas will be $1.50 per gallon. Heard about this plenty of times, and I barely watch the news. Not to mention he seems to assume that the oil will be used only for the US, when in reality it will go to the highest bidder.

Well, the speaker's book is out of print, but if you act now, you can purchase a copy of it: http://www.amazon.com/Energy-Non-Crisis-Lindsey-Williams/dp/0890510687/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1215297399&sr=1-1
Oh yeah, it'll only cost you $1,499.:p
*****SPOILER*******
The video was too long, but I listened to all of it. He's probably right, but he didn't offer enough detail to legitimize his statements. For instance, I'm not quite sure what he meant when he said the Saudis (and others) are paying back the US debt from the sale of oil to us. He should have elaborated on that statement. And who owns the IMF & World Bank? A bunch of rich ****? The speaker promised to give names by the end of his speech, but didn't do it. SO his book is almost 30 years old, how old is this speech? According to his own website he's done doing this schtick, including speaking engagements. How expensive was gas when he was giving this talk, I wonder. If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Apparently, you didn't listen to it. $3 if you hear the long version of that talk.-Ignorance is strength -

Sorry, I wasn't criticizing, just asking. No I didn't make it through all 75 minutes. If you will it, dude, it is no dream. -
For instance, I'm not quite sure what he meant when he said the Saudis (and others) are paying back the US debt from the sale of oil to us.
The US keeps borrowing and borrowing and borrowing, taking up new debts to pay off old, etc. Countries like Saudi Arabia buy US Treasury notes. They are our governments way of financing the debt that we all read about. Interest is due on Treasuries when they expire. So, the Saudis aren't eliminating our debt, they are just giving us more credit and they are making money in interest on top of it. This is nothing new, the company I work for buys and sells these things. Other big players that finance our debt besides the middle east are China and Japan. We need these countries to do this because our government spends more than it taxes (hence the national debt).
Lindsey Williams ties together why the Saudis help us out and this vicious cycle we are stuck in. -
Its too bad we are still relying on oil as an energy source when it has been known how to generate energy from other means for quite some time.
THE MORAY RADIANT ENERGY DEVICEAll truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed, second it is violently opposed and third, it is accepted as self evident. -
I tried to watch this talk but I think his main goal is to sell his book.
Yes I believe the government is not telling us the truth, but he doesn't present data to support this. He sounds very similar to Ralph Nader, but Nader has data and references to government and private studies during his speech.
I just wish he could get to his point in less than 10 minutes instead of rambling on and on.
If I said that there is enough oil there for 1000 years and I have people that told me so would you believe me ? I hope not because I know nothing about the steps, costing, critical issues and laws of converting the stuff in the ground to gasoline.
Does he have more knowledge? -

I would like to meet someone who knows the WHOLE truth.
I would also like to talk to these people.
A good rule to find the truth is to follow the money trail.
Who's making the big $ with the oil now?
How are these people connected to our government?
What laws did these people support?
What elected people did these people support?
What TV, newspapers, magazines, radio and other media outlets do these people influence or control?
Questions, all questions. -
Agreed. And what other technologies do these people have an interest in?Michael

I would guess any technology that makes more money and increases thier control. -
You won't meet any one person, Mike. Alot of factors play a part, and a few industries have a part in this, but mostly it's greed.

....and thats the bottom line folks.Though I often wonder why at the end of every presidents time in office, the economy tanks. This is why it is of utmost importance to keep government out of things they should not be in.Unfortunately, money and power rule the day and that seems like it will never change,no matter who is president. You can look back to every president, members of congress, both sides,Rep. or Dem,and you'll see a money trail, from corporate interest, oversea's money, etc.Don't you wonder why a person who makes hundred of thousands if not millions of bucks in the private sector wants a job as senator that pays 150k a year?Surely it is not because they have your interest at heart. The only thing that changes is who's pockets the crooks fill, and what kind of benefits will be returned to them.Greed....you don't have to paint it any other way, simple as that.So when I hear this crap about "real change",I hold on to my wallet and pray and use the only weapon left to us,my vote.
Oil,is here to stay as the primary source of energy. If an alternative source is by some miracle, stumbled apon, you will not see it untill the powers at be decide how to control it,and keep the profits within their circles of influence. So if it is here to stay, lets get us some of our own black gold burried with in our borders for the time being. Some relief is better than none at all,no?HT SYSTEM-

Does he have more knowledge?
He gives first hand accounts of being there when they figured out just how big the Gull Island oil field is. Whether it is really the biggest in the world or the tenth biggest isn't the point. We agreed to buy oil from the Saudis (and others) if they agreed to trade oil in USD and buy US Treasuries. Countries that went along with this plan became our 'friends' and those that didn't (Iraq & Iran), became our enemies.
The catch 22 is that if we tap into Alaska, we could get cheaper oil, but then the middle east friendlies would say eff you, we're not buying up your debt anymore, and the US dollar suffers more.
Cliff Notes:
As the national debt goes up, the price of oil has to go up to finance the debt.
And no, I don't know what the answer to everything is except that our national debt needs to come down. -

If it's true that he says he can make energy and violate the second law of thermodynamics I would be very concerned about his truthfulness.
