I purchased this from the original owner in November 2007 and have used it for the last 7 months. I am currently using it with my Carver in a 5.1 setup for HT (see signature). The surround processing is excellent as is the analog bypass mode. Most of you know this is a very high quality pre/pro. There are no scratches, dents, etc. I found the original shipping box and antenna package so I have everything it came with.
To make the pricing easier, I’ve estimated UPS ground + insurance from Florida to California. If it’s less than I've estimated, I’ll discount the difference. If you prefer another shipping method, we can work that out.
I don’t plan on posting this anywhere else so if now is not a good time please let me know. I’m willing to hold it for a reasonable period of time. If it can’t stay in the Polkie family, I’ll just keep it around.
Email (faster) or PM me with any questions.

I may be interested in this. I currently have a Sony str-da5es running my home theater. I know (or have heard) seperates are much more detailed. If I were to purchase this and get a 5 channel amp, would this be a significant upgrade over what I have now? Any opinions are appreciated.Shawn

For obvious reasons it wouldn't be fair for me to comment on whether the Outlaw would serve you better than your Sony. I can tell you that prior to my current separates I was using an HK receiver and was never truly happy with the power levels. Although my Carver has roughly the rated power (per channel) as my former receiver, the sound quality is night & day better. Whether that is simply better / cleaner power, the Outlaw processor, or just separates in general, I can't really say.
My personal feeling is that separate amplification is the way to go. Whether that involves a Sony, Outlaw, or other processor I will leave up to other forum members to advise you on.Sony 60'' SXRD 1080p

Man, this is tempting. If I can sell either the sony str-da5es that I have or the Denon 2805 I have to help fund this, I would jump on this. I'm thinking hard on this one....Shawn

Basically he is selling it for $290. Shipping and insurance is $40. If I didn't have an Outlaw pre it would be mine! Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

I located the shipping box from Outlaw and the antenna pack, so that should be everything it originally shipped with. Probably wasn't a show-stopper but at least if it sells the shipping damage risk would be removed.Sony 60'' SXRD 1080p
