On the 4th of July, the conservative freedom fighter is gone. Quite a character. Whether you agreed with his political views or not, he was a great American. RIP, look for a story here

Well .... in 2005 Jerry Falwell's Liberty University opened the Jesse Helms School of Government.

In any event, rest in peace. I just hope that you're not too surprised to find Negroes, ****, and Communists in Heaven.

One could do a whole helluva lot worse than to follow in the man's shoes. RIP

Does anybody find it odd that he died in a hospital named after himself?

Don't they usually name the building after somebody who is allready dead?

Hmm, never met the man so I can't really say anything prolific.

I wonder what Teddy Kennedy is going to say to St. Peter about the young lady who drowned at Chappaquiddick?

Not necessarily. About 2/3 of West Virginia is named after the former KKK member and current Democrat Senator Robert Byrd. Bridges, dams, malls, buildings, outhouses. And although he may not look like it, he's still alive.

To be fair, both sides have had their fair share of dictators, not just the communists.

p.s. Stalin had more people murdered than Hitler, does that mean the Allies were the bad guys? :)

Not all communist are atheist, just like not all Christians are good people.
